Right now, we’re looking for people who are more about working outside than in and aren’t afraid of working hard, learning how to do it better, and taking on more responsibility— the type of people who like the idea of being on the fast track to a pay raise and promotion.
The Lucas crew is made up of all types of people. We have rock climbers and first responders, veterans and gearheads. Some of us just like being outdoors all the time. We like to say we hire for attitude and train for altitude. So, whatever your background, if you’re willing to work hard, you’ll find a spot to grow at Lucas.
Lucas is a great place to start—and a great place to grow. We invest in our employees. That means we pay for your training, whether it’s earning your commercial driver’s license (CDL) or one of the many professional certificates we provide. We reward hard work with incentive-based wages and opportunities for advancement.
“This is definitely a career choice. I moved up from arborist trainee to arborist to running my own bucket truck and climbing crews to moving into this position as safety trainer. It’s a great career. It’s a great field. And the industry is always growing.” – Nick Palladino, Safety Trainer
No minimum wage here. New employees start at $15-$18/hour and move up from there with every certificate earned and new skillset learned.
Work in the bucket, climb trees, work on the ground. There are endless opportunities to become certified and move up.
We’ll pay for your training. Use our equipment while you learn. You’ll always have your CDL—and you’ll never be unemployable again.
It’s not something you see much anymore, but we offer incentives for productivity and safety. The more you do, the safer you are, the more you earn. Because good work should be rewarded.
We get you’re just starting out. That’s why Lucas has lots of introductory jobs available. You can check out different career paths while you work and earn. Start as Ground Operations Technician, Arborist Trainee, Climber, Chainsaw Operator, or any other intro position and move up from there. And the best part? No experience necessary.
There’s lots to do out there, and we’d like you to help us get it done. We’re looking to fill these positions. See one you like? It’s (super) easy to apply.
