Herbicide Application

Lucas has been providing herbicide treatment for right-of-ways since 1948 through its partnership with Dow Chemical.  Our highly trained licensed applicators, use the lowest amount of effective mix to control unwanted vegetation.  Our crews are aware and trained to deal with the environmental concerns of our customers and the public along the right-of-ways.  Regulating the growth around conductors and along the corridor improves access to the right-of-way, extends the trimming cycle while lowering the cost for our customers and provides a great habitat for wildlife.
